How Analytics Are Blended

• Shares are weighted by quantity: 10 units at Project A and 30 units at Project B give 25% A and 75% B
• A line split between accounts contributes each of its shares: 10 units at 60% A / 40% B and 10 units at 100% B give 30% A and 70% B
• A line without an optional plan dilutes that plan; a mandatory plan stays at 100%
• Shares are rounded so that every plan keeps its total: three equal thirds give 33.33%, 33.33% and 33.34%
• Distributions that book several analytic plans in one entry are supported

Shared Merge Engine

• Two modes for lines of the same product: Blend analytics makes one line, Keep analytics makes one line only when the analytics are equal
• One behaviour across purchases, sales and invoices: same checks, same chatter notes, same cancellation of emptied documents

Modules Built on Analytic Blend

Analytic Blend does nothing on its own; these modules use it:

• Purchase Merge with Analytics: merge RFQs of one vendor and move lines to the RFQ of another vendor, blending or keeping their analytics.
• Purchase Merge - Inventory: installed with Purchase Merge and Inventory: merged RFQ lines keep feeding the stock moves that wait for them.
• Sale Merge with Analytics: merge quotations of one customer and move lines to another quotation, blending or keeping their analytics.
• Invoice Merge with Analytics: merge draft invoices and bills of one partner and move lines to another draft, blending or keeping their analytics.
